- Velky Choc is one of the most visited hills in Slovakia. Among other things it is popular with tourists, because it exceeds surrounding hills. The summit offers a beautiful panoramic view of the whole Orava, West and High Tatras, Liptov, Low Tatras, and Fatra.
- Former pub in Valaská Dubová known especially that there were caught Juraj Janosik. Today it is Inn providing catering.
- Near the center of the race is village Malatiná . It's one of the places where was filmed the famous and popular Slovak farytale Perinbaba.
- Near the center of the race you will find village Vyšný Kubin's birthplace P. O. Hviezdoslava famous Slovak writer.
- In the village Jasenová was born Martin Kukučín writer and doctor .
- I would like to recomend to climbers a popular place to climb - Tupá Skala which provides a diverse difficulty of climbing on the varying type of rock with nice views.
